Our private lessons and mentorship programs are designed to empower new and emerging burlesque performers to find their unique persona and style. Whether you’re just starting your journey or looking to refine your skills, our personalized approach will help you develop the confidence and stage presence needed to captivate an audience. Private Lessons

Our one-on-one private lessons offer a tailored experience, focusing on the specific needs and goals of each performer. These sessions can either be carried out in studio or online.

Here’s what you can expect:

Technique & Choreography: Learn the fundamentals of burlesque dance, from classic bump-and-grind moves to modern neo-burlesque flair. We’ll work on body lines, isolations, and transitions to make your movements smooth and captivating.
Act Development: Dive deep into the creative process with guidance on character development, storytelling, and building a cohesive and memorable act. Whether you’re working on your debut performance or a new concept, we’ll help you shape your vision from start to finish.
Costume Consultation: Get advice on costume design and construction, with tips on maximizing impact while ensuring ease of removal. We’ll help you create reveals and integrate props to enhance your stage presence.
Stage Presence & Confidence Building: Learn how to command the stage with charisma and connect with your audience. We focus on facial expressions, eye contact, and embodying your character to create a mesmerizing performance.

Investment:

$100.00AUD per hour (plus studio booking fee)
In person and online video sessions available
Discount available for 2 hours or more consecutive sessions

Mentorship Program

Our mentorship program is perfect for those seeking a deeper, more immersive experience. This comprehensive service includes ongoing support and personalized feedback to guide you through your burlesque journey:

Goal Setting & Personal Development: We start by identifying your strengths and areas for growth. Together, we’ll set short-term and long-term goals to keep you on track and motivated as you progress.
Act Polishing & Feedback: Receive detailed feedback on your routines, from initial concept to stage-ready performance. We’ll provide insights on choreography, costuming, and overall presentation to help elevate your act.
Industry Insights & Professional Development: Learn about the business side of burlesque, including branding, networking, and navigating the performance circuit. We’ll share tips on marketing yourself, and getting booked for shows.
